The Caterpillar family is part of LOCo (Lunaticoastro Observatory Controllers), a range of devices designed by Lunaticoastro to automate and control astronomical observatories.
LOCo includes various roof and dome control solutions.

The CaterpillarR is designed to retrofit existing observatories with manual operation by 4 switches. It is the first model we are releasing, but we intend to continue bringing out other models to control all kinds of domes and roll-offs. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to reach out to us, as we are currently developing these next models (which will control AC motors, steppers and DC, and shutters with various mechanisms). |
