What we do at Lunático is to choose products more tan suppliers. In order to determine if a product is worth to be “Lunático”, we check if it fulfills a series of criteria: it has to be original and interesting, of quality, with a reasonable price and alternative to the current offer in the market. Inside these criteria there is room for many different things, from the spectroscope and the Astrotrac to the QHY cameras or the Lumicon filters.

We are importers of prestigious brands such as LUMICON which is a leader for filters, filter accessories, finders, and lenses cleaning products.

We also give our name to the green lasers specific for Astronomy with an on/off switch and AAA batteries, the most common, cheap and easy to find.

Likewise we distribute at a very affordable price, cases made of black PVC that provide you the safe and comfortable storage and transport of your cameras, eyepieces, telescopes… and any other astronomic instrument thanks to the pre-cut foam they are padded with.

Recently we have included in our selection the EZG-60 guide tubes that are a clear example of a Lunático product. During many months we have been looking for good “short” tubes with a reasonable price and that permit the guide with CCD cameras. We made a lot of telephone calls to the suppliers, many test on the material…until we found what we were looking for. Now the EZG-60 Lunático guide tube is being in the market

Por último distribuimos las que consideramos nuestro producto estrella, las cámaras Luna-QHY. Cámaras refrigeradas para astrofotografía QHYCCD, y cámaras CMOS fabricadas por QHYCCD, en China. De nuevo ha resultado un producto que probamos y nos convenció. Además la estrecha relación que mantenemos con el fabricante, nos permite mejorar constantemente las cámaras e ir preparando nuevos lanzamientos. En poco menos de un año, las 175 unidades de cámaras Luna-QHY vendidas están permitiendo que la astrofotografía deje de ser un lujo alcanzable sólo para unos pocos y en lugar de ello se convierta en una afición popular.
