Alarm Section

Setup TAB – Alarms section - MASTER mode

Setup TAB – Alarms section - REMOTE mode

The Alarms Section allows the user to:

·        halt the sound alarms without affecting the operation of the switch (Unsafe TAB );

·        define the infrared sensor value above which Cloud Condition is considered “Unknown” (ranges from 0 to 99, default value = 30 ºC and it corresponds to field Overcast condition in Limits TAB which must be larger than the value defined for Cloudy condition Limits TAB);

·        define the color associated with any “Unknown” condition - to select another color, right click over this rectangle;

·        define the rain sensor value below which Rain Condition is considered “Unknown” (ranges from 100 to 999, default value = 400 cycles and it corresponds to field Rain condition in Limits TAB which must be smaller than the value defined for Wet condition under Limits TAB);

NB: If Disable is selected then the program will disregard the “Unknown” condition for the rain sensor and it sets the internal rain condition to Dry.

·        define the brightness value above which the Brightness Condition is considered “Unknown” (ranges from 2 000 up to 99 999, default value = 60000 K and it must be larger than the value defined for Dark condition under Limits TAB);

NB: If Disable is selected then the program will disregard the “Unknown” condition for the light sensor and it sets the internal brightness condition to Dark.

·        define the number of consecutive reading cycles that must occur before the “Unknown” condition is raised (ranges from 1 to 9, default value = 3);

·        define the number of consecutive RS232 communication errors which  must occur before the “Unknown” condition is raised for Cloud, Rain and Brightness conditions ( ranges from 1 to 99, default value = 3);

·        define if an “Unknown” condition automatically forces “UNSAFE” condition;

NB: When the suspend sound alarms option changes from selected to un-selected, the sound alarms will be played automatically after the completion of next device reading cycle if the weather conditions, the programmed sound alarms and selected unsafe conditions (Unsafe TAB) meet the criteria.
